I completed my doctorate work in the Physics departmet of Purdue University in Jan 2015. During my time there, I studied condensed matter and atomic, molecular and optical physics and worked with Dr. Yong Chen’s AMO group on research in the dynamics of ultracold atoms in synthetic gauge fields, supported by the NSF and NDSEG Fellowships. My PhD Thesis was titled ``The Dynamics of Ultracold Atoms in Light-Induced Synthetic Gauge Fields''.
